SonicWall Global VPN Client connection status changes to Disabled - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: when attempting to establish SonicWall VPN, Global VPN Client connection status changes to Disabled. The Windows RAIUS server doesn't get the Event logs. The Global VPN Client log view shows these message: “The downloaded policy configuration contains no destination networks” and "The policy downloaded from the firewall is invalid or incomplete".

Resolution: This errors Indicate that the Group VPN Policy [zone] downloaded from the firewall to the Global VPN
Client had no destination networks in it, because the SonicWALL administrator did not
assign any VPN access network(s) to the user (and/or the user did not inherit any VPN
access network(s) through the user group membership).

To fix this problem,

1. login SonicWall.

2. Navigate to Users>Local Users or Local Groups.

3. Click VPN Access and add LAN Primary Subnet that will allow VPN client access the LAN>
