INFO: The policy object does not exist - Case Studies

Case 1: The client is using ISP DNS so that the workstions can’t get the group policy from the DC.

Case 2: One of the computer has incorrect DNS setting so that the computer receive this error.

Case 3: the client created a group policy using windows 2000 server and then edited the policy on a Windows 2003 server. That corrupted the policy. Resolutions for The following entry in the [strings] section is too long and has been truncated.

Case 4: The Group Policy has been working for two years until the client upgraded the DC to windows 2003.
