Boot freezes on ACPITABLE.DATA

Situation: After the client installed Microsoft update, the Windows 2003 server can't start and freezes on ACPITABLE.DATA. The safe Mode doesn't help.

Resolution: After we unplugged all external connections, we can boot it from Safe Mode. Then do the clean boot and make sure there is not other issues. Restore all connections and reboot it as normal. It works fine.
