The action can't be completed because the file is open in Windows Explorer - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: When attempting to delete a PDF file from Windows Explorer, you may receive this message: The action can't be completed because the file is open in Windows Explorer

Resolution: You may want to disable Preview pane in Windows Explorer. With Windows Explorer open, click View and then Preview pane. Now, try to delete the PDF file.
