From: Date: 23 Oct 2006 Time: 11:50:42 -0400 Remote Name: 64.107.43.197 Comments: Good day to you! I apologize for writing but I didn't know who to get in touch with resolving our VPN problem. Hope you can help me with this problem. We are a small company with one server installed with Win2k3 and ISA 2004 server. We have 8 computers/ workstations all connected to the server. The server acts as the proxy and firewall server, router and gateway for the internet and for our emails. The LAN workstations and the server can browse the internet and download emails without any problems. We have a company headquarters outside of the country, where they installed a Cisco VPN concentrator. They provided us with a Cisco Dialer 4.8 (with the keyfiles) which we installed in our server. The VPN connection is ok: that is the server gets a secured connection to the Cisco concentrator and the server can also browse the VPN website of our headquarters. The problem is with our workstations. When VPN is not connected to our head office, the workstations can access websites and download emails. However, when VPN is connected to our head office, the workstations cannot access websites or download emails, or even browse the VPN website. The server does not experience such problems. Regardless whether the VPN is connected or not, the server can download emails and access websites. I think the problem is: when VPN is connected the workstations utilize the VPN connection as the primary gateway for their internet requests. However, I need the workstations to access the VPN website, download emails and browse the internet all at the same time. What settings should I do to solve this problem? Please, I really need your help.
