Undeliverable #5.1.3 – Solved

Comments:

One of our technicians just created a distribution called accounting. The users can see it from the Address Book and the Properties of the Accounting lists all members. However, when we try to send email to this distribution, we receive This message: 

Subject: Undeliverable: Timesheet Reminder

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

      Subject:	Timesheet Reminder
      Sent:	10/20/2006 10:56 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

      Accounting on 10/20/2006 10:56 AM
            The format of the e-mail address is incorrect.  Check the address, look up the recipient in the Address Book, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.

As the message says, the format of the e-mail address is incorrect. If we open the E-mail address under the Properties of the Accounting, it shows SMTP: Accounting. It should be Accounting@chicagotech.net. Modifying the SMP address fixes the problem.
