Can't access the Internet via VPN client using IP Pool

Comments:

I have just configured Remote Access on an SBS2K3 server with a static
address pool on a different subnet to the SBS network and ran the connection
manager on an XP Pro SP2 client. The client logs into the VPN server on the
SBS no problem but I have one issue;

I cannot route to the Internet while the VPN connections is active. On
the client side the default gateway is the same as the assigned IP address
and the properties for the TCP are set to use the default gateway on the
remote system.

What have I done wrong here? Any links, suggestions etc would be
appreciated.
