Problem: I was able to access my Windows 2003 using RDC last week. I can't do the same now.
I can't ping the server while the server can ping the any computers. There are no firewall running on the server.
Solution: We found the client upgraded Cisco VPN client from 4.6.01 to 4.6.03.
After that he could not access the server any more. Stopping the Cisco VPN client service fixes the problem.
We also found if RRAS is enabled for VPN, the inbound filter may stop access too.
