Resolutions: Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be taken.

If you receive these errors: Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be taken. Failed to query TCP/IP settings of the connection. Cannot Connect

Try these:

1.	Remove and then reinstall TCP/IP.
2.	If it is XP and you can remove the TCP/IP, do this: netsh int ip reset.
3.	You may run winsockxpfix.
