Solved: Still ping removed hostname

Problem: We have removed a server name vista from the domain and rejoined it as tmvista using the same IP address. 
It is already over 10 days, we can ping both hostnames. I have checked DNS and WINS server and they don't have 
the vista listed. Why?

Solved:

I found it. We have two WINS server. I only deleted it from the one of WINS. I found it still listed on the second WINS. After deleting from the second WINS, ping doesn't reply any more.
