Situation: The client is using Barracuda backup to back up Exchange 2010.
the backup was successful. However, it doesn't clear the log files and the
Exchange server is low spaces in log drive.

How to check
the backup status in Exchange 2010 to check the backup status, it shows,
the last full backup is 15 day ago. Note: to clear the exchange log files,
you must perform a full backup. In the Barracuda backup, the default backup
type is smart. We fixed the problem by changing the backup type from smart
to full.
To change the Backup Type in Barracuda, go to the backup schedule, under
SQL/Exchange backup, click narrow down key and select Full as shown below.
