Auto reply rule doesn't work - Resolution with screenshots

Q: I follow this article to setup an Auto reply rule:

How to create an Auto Reply rule using Microsoft Outlook 2007

. It works works for some users, but no others. Why?

A: Here are some possible causes:

1. If the user setup a email forwarding following this article: How to setup forwarding and accessing multiple email accounts in Office 365 - Step by step with screenshots, the auto reply rule doesn't apply. You must have your administrator to setup the forwarding for you by following this article: How to setup email forward in Exchange 2013 or Exchange online - Step by step with screenshots

2. When you setup email forwarding, you must check Deliver message to both forwarding address and mailbox. Otherwise, the auto reply doesn't work.

3. Also make sure no other rules conflict with this auto reply rule.
