Troubleshooting corrupted Microsoft SharePoint

Case 1: By mistake, the client uninstalled the office SharePoint and then cancelled the uninstallation. Now, no one can access the SharePoint.

Resolution: Go to Add/Remove to repair the SharePoint. You may also need to run SharePoint Production and Technologies Configuration.

Case 2: When trying to repair SharePoint, you may receive this message: the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 configuration did not complete successfully. Try to install again using a valid copy of the installation package osrvmui.msi, wssmui.msi or dlcapp.msi.

Resolution: install above mentioned msi from the Office SharePoint Media.
