How to delete multiple default gateways

Postby chicagotech » Mon Mar 14, 2011 3:53 pm

One of our clients is running Windows 2008 as VM on Hyper-V. The VM had two NICs, one connected to the LAN and another connetced to a punlic IP address. We have disabled the public NIC for the security reason. But we can't access the Internet from the server. The route print command shows, there are multiple defautl gateways as shown below.

If I try route delete x.x.17.145 command, I get OK, but it doesn't delete the default gateway x.x.17.145. How do you delete all default gateway except 192.168.10.1?

Try route delete 0.0.0.0. That will detele all gateways. Then you need to re-assign the default gateway manully.
