Postby guest » Wed Mar 07, 2012 5:35 pm

Q: When attempting to join Microsoft domain using Windind in Linux Gnome, I get this message: "The /usr/sbin/winbindd file was not found, but it is required for winbind support to work properly"

A: this requires the samba-windbind package (http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/ ... 4.rpm.html).
