Can't install Windows with no drive message

Postby chicagotech » Thu Apr 26, 2012 10:56 pm

Situation: the client tried to install Windows 2008 in a new HP ProLiant server. When booting from the Windows DVD and in the installation page, it says no drive.

Troubleshooting: 1. You may need to download the controller drive from the HP. Please refer to this post: Problem to install Windows on HP ML110 G7 - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15756

2. Or make sure you enabled the Controller. This post may help: Don't see Smart Controller in HP ML110 G7 - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15757
