Postby blin » Thu Jun 21, 2012 7:07 pm

Situation: The client tries to install Windows 2008 R2 64bit on a new HP M110 server. After rebooting from the Windows 2008 R2 DVD, he gets this message: "No drives were found". He can't see any drives.

Resolution: Go to the HP website download HP ProLiant Smart Array Embedded SATA RAID Controller Driver for Windows 2008 x64 Editions and copy it to a USB drive. When you see the above message, click Load drives. You will get this message: "To install the device driver needed to access your hard drive, insert the install media containing the driver files, and click OK. Click Browse.
