SSL certificate failed certificate validation checks

Postby guest » Mon Jun 30, 2014 7:52 am

Q: We are running Exchange 2007. When we test it from www.testexchangeconnectivity.com, we receive "The SSL certificate failed one or more certificate validation checks". What could be the problem?

A: try these

1. Set the Certificate Principal Name for external autodiscover using the command below:

Set-OutlookProvider EXPR -CertPrincipalName:"msstd:<FQDN the certificate is issued to>

2. Check the date of Certificate to see if it has expired.
