Computer keeps losing Internet conenction

Postby guest » Tue Dec 20, 2016 5:26 pm

Situation: One of our computers keeps losing connection. It is not DNS issue because I can't ping outside IP address like 4.2.2.2 or 8.8.8.8. It is not driver issue because it is the latest driver installed. It is not IP conflict because the computer can still access internet network device such as servers and printers. We can ping any internal network devices except Cisco ASA firewall. If we change to a different IP, then it works.

Troubleshooting: try this command: netsh winsock reset
to clean state.
