1. If you have Exchange server, you may assign send as or send behalf permission using ADUC

Image

2. If you use Office 365 and have AD in your LAN to DirctSyn, above settings may not work and you can' assign permissions on Office 365. In this case, you may want to use Windows Azure Directory Module for Windows Powershell:

$UserCredential = Get-Credential
$Session = New-PSSession -ConfigurationName Microsoft.Exchange -ConnectionUri https://outlook.office365.com/powershell-liveid/ -Credential $UserCredential -Authentication Basic -AllowRedirection
Import-PSSession $Session

Add-RecipientPermission groupname@yourdomain.com -AccessRights SendAs -Trustee username@yourdomain.com

For example

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $UserCredential = Get-Credential

cmdlet Get-Credential at command pipeline position 1
Supply values for the following parameters:
Credential
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> $Session = New-PSSession -ConfigurationName Microsoft.Ex
change -ConnectionUri https://outlook.office365.com/powershell-liveid/ -Credenti
al $UserCredential -Authentication Basic -AllowRedirection
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Import-PSSession $Session
