Recipient receives email but no attachement

Postby chicagotech » Fri Mar 03, 2017 12:07 pm

Situation: The client receives an email but the attachment doesn't come.

Troubleshooting: Based on Microsoft Office 365 Message Trace Result as shown below, the email with attachment has been sent to recipient’s receiver server (cox.net). If the client receives the email without attachment, it is possible the recipient’ server blocks it as spam.

In the email bottom, we can read this lines:
<Special Notice.pdf>
<Distribution Election Forms.pdf>

This indicates the email comes with attachment but has been removed from recipient’s server. You can have the client contacts their Administrator or you can try to zip the pdf and re-sent it.
