How to migrate ADFS Proxy

Postby chicagotech » Fri Apr 28, 2017 4:46 pm

These are the step to migrate old adfs proxy to a new adfs proxy.

1. Enable and configure Web Application Proxy under Remote Access role. You need to import certificate from old ADFS Proxy. Note: if you use VPN make you sure you can ping each between adfs primary server and proxy. Also make sure proxy server port 443 and 8o is open.

2. Test it by add new public IP on your desktop hosts., for example adfs.mydo, com 2.2.2.2. Then login Office 365 portal from the machine.

3. If the test OK, change DNS
Ask to set TTL value low, for example 0 on your domain DNS.
Point your domain to the public.

4. It may take a while to migrate from old proxy to new proxy.
