Following RemoteApp program is not in list of authorized

Postby chicagotech » Tue Jul 25, 2017 3:25 pm

Q: I just setup RD Server for High Availability using SQL 2012. It works. However, after I upgraded (in place) the SQL from 2012 to 2016, I can't access RD server with this message:

Windows cannot start the RemoteApp program. The following RemoteApp program is not in the list of authorized programs: Remote Desktop Connection.

A: Try these:

•Run Regedit on the Essentials Server itself
•Find the location HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\TSAppAllowList
•Find the key “fDisabledAllowList”
•It will be set to “0”.
•Change to “1”.
