Postby guest » Sun Feb 12, 2012 11:13 pm

OK I have the router set up to forward the port numbers to the WHS system.I can access the WHS system remotely via a Browser mechanisms. I can access the WHS system using Remote Desktop Connection when I am in the Home network environemt on the same router... However whatever I do I cannot connect to the WHS using Remote Desktop Connection when I am away from the home environment using the www.

Any suggestions would be welcome

Thanks to everyone for helping on this thread I believe I have all the information to proceed and finally resolve my problem, One item that did cause me a major issue initiailly was the use of a non IE browser (Firefox) which did not show all the links that I needed to use.
