Can't reboot computer after Microsoft update

Q: After Microsoft update, we can't reboot the computer. How do you fix it?

A: Try to unplug all external connections. and reboot it again. Or refer to this article:

Or try these:
1. Run CHKDSK on system drive.

For windows Server 2003 run the following command:
C:\>Chkdsk /r C:

For windows Server 2008 run the following command:
C:\> Chkdsk /f C:

Once the CHKDSK completes without any errors, boot the machine in normal mode.

This problem can be caused by these situation: BIOS/Firmware out of the date, external storage Configuration issues, iSCSI Multipath configuration issue, and File system corruption.
