adprep is valid, but is for machine type other than current

Postby chicagotech » Fri May 18, 2012 9:14 pm

Situation: When attempting to run adprep /forestprep on SBS 2003, you may receive this message:
The image file C:\Temp\adprep\adprep.exe is valid, but is for a machine type other than the current machine.

Resolution: Sine this is SBS 2003 32 bit server, you need to run this command: adpre32.exep /forestprep
