How do I know chkdsk was running

Postby chicagotech » Thu Mar 23, 2017 10:18 pm

Q: We have a Windows 2008 server. The Event viewer lists this error: Event ID 55 - The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume Data. I scheduled to run chkdsk by opening Properties of the hard drive and select tools. After restarting the server, how do I know the chkdsk was running? Or where can I check the result?

A: You check Application even logs. Search chkdsk, wininit source or Event ID 1001 and 26121.
