Joining domain error: Network Path Not Found

Situation: the client just created Windows 2012 R2 as Domain Controller with DNS. However, none of clients can join the domain with this message: "Network Path Not Found".

Troubleshooting:
Cause

This behavior can occur when the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) configuration is using the incorrect IP address for the Domain Name Service (DNS) or WINS server on your network, or when no name server IP addresses are specified.

Resolution
To resolve this behavior, make sure that the IP addresses of the DNS and WINS servers on your network are specified correctly in your TCP/IP settings.

"Network path not found" in a workgroup network - error 53 ... following error messages:1) The following error occurred attempting to join domain " example. com ...

Troubleshooting
1. Net view doesn't work
C:\Windows\system32>net view
System error 6118 has occurred.

The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available

2. nslookup shows Default Server: UnKnown
C:\Windows\system32>nslookup

0.0.0.0.0.0.0.ip6.arpa

We suspect this is IPv6 issue. We disable IPv6 and remove IPv6 DNS that fix the problem.
