How to create a SQL Database in azure

An Azure SQL database can be created as set of compute and storage resources. Here is how.

1. Login Azure portal.

2. Click the New button found on the upper left-hand corner of the Azure portal.

3. Select Databases from the New page, and click on SQL Database.

4. Enter the SQL Database information, and click on Create:

3. The SQL Database may includes these information: Resource group, server name, Elastic database pool, show database connection strings, Elastic standard.


4. if you click on server name, you may see these information: server admin, show firewall settings, Active Directory admin
