Account is invalid because password expired

Situation: The client tires to add a windows 2008 r2 server to Backup Exec 2010. It keeps popup with this message: Account is invalid because password expired. The same domain admin account with the same password doesn't have this issue. We can login the Windows 2008 R2 server using the same account without any issue.

Resolution: Re-add the account to the Backup exec using this format: domainname\username.
