Disable domain user account but still send email

Postby blin » Tue Nov 29, 2011 12:48 pm

Situation: the Help Desk received one call and was requested to promptly disable an account of a remote user. However, the disabled user was still sending email!

Resolution: In this case, it is better to change the password instead of disabling the account. Or you may need to disconnect the user network session. If the user is using OWA you need to restart the IIS on the Exchange.
