Vista can't create file: Make sure file name are correct

Postby chicagotech » Mon Oct 29, 2007 4:21 pm

Situation: When a administrator tries to modify a bat file in a Vista laptop, he receive this message: " Cannot create the C:\chicagotech.bat file. Make sure that the path and file name are correct".

Resolution: You need to run the notepad as administrator even you logon as administrator. To do that, click Start, type Notepad, and then right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
