Vista can't copy because of username

Postby chicagotech » Fri Mar 07, 2008 6:07 pm

Situation: The user has a laptop. Sometimes, he can synchronize the data from the laptop to his desktop in the office, but other time, it doesn't work giving him access dined error. He always logon the same username

Troubleshooting: After studying this case carefully, we found if he logs on the domain on the laptop, he can synchronize the data; if he logs on the local computer with the same username on the laptop, he will receive access denied message. He should always logon the domain username in the office to synchronize the date. If he need to logon local computer and wants to synchronize the data, the resolution is creating the same username on the desktop local computer.
