ISA drop video and audio packets

Postby guest » Mon May 04, 2009 9:09 pm

Situation: some http packet, such as video and audio on port 80, due to different command and frames, ISA detected that it is not a normal packet and will drop it. To allow these kinds of access, we need to either modify traffic port or customize HTTP protocol.

In this case, it is the default http protocol, ISA will block the traffic.

If you wanna to keep using port 80 for web camera, we need to do the
following:

1. Create a customized HTTP protocol, not bind the Web Proxy Filter.
2. Create a computer set, input the destination computer, the web camera
address.
3. Create a Rule to allow internal to external webcamra access, use the
customized http protocol.
4. Create another rule to deny access to external webcamera by using the
default http protocol.
