Cisco switch still runs old version after upgrade

Postby guest » Mon Nov 10, 2014 2:49 pm

Q: After upgrading the firmware on our Cisco SFG300 switch, it is still running old firmware version. Why?

A: After upgrade, the new image only replaces the image identified as the inactive image. The device continues to boot by using the active image (the old version) until you change the status of the new image to be the active image by using the procedure
in the Active Image section. Then boot the device.
