A new patch has already been applied to this system

Symptom: After lost a network mapped drive X, our Financial Edge had an issue to login the FE. When opening the FE, it popup for a software update. If you click OK to install the update, you may receive this message: “A new patch has already been applied to this system”. The FE close by itself.

Resolution: Open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Blackbaud\The Financial Edge, delete BBUpdate.ini. That should fix the problem. Note: FE users can delete the BBUpdate.ini by themselves.
