This is what I found. In my office, the Clear Motorola modem shows 3 Leds with download speed around 1MB and in the family room shows 4 Leds with speed around 2MB. The upload almost the same, 0.5MB.

I find when you do a speed test in initial setup Clear, the speed can go upto 9MB. After that, the speed will be normal 1 to 2MB. Can Clear does upto 9MB.

Go upto 9MB? Not sure, but it is possible 6 or 7MB. I called Clear to cancel my service. The lady offered me 6MB per secodn speed in the same rate. After she reset, yes, it goes upto 7MB. My next question is how many bandwidth I can have? Or does it slow down after I reach certain level of the bandwidth? She can't find this information, but doesn't deny it is possible the speed will low to 1 or 2MB after I use maximum badnwidth.

I will do more tests and will report it back.
