wireless connected but can't access the internet

Situation: In a hotel, my laptop wireless shows disconnect meaning it is connecting to the wireless, but the status show no connecting. if I disconnect, it will re-connect but its status still no connecting. I can't ping any public ip address.

Troubleshooting: open the Internet browser and go to the hotel website, to connect to the Internet. If it may ask you for a payment.
