Windows 8 WiFi shows "limited" connection

Postby chicagotech » Sat Mar 23, 2013 8:37 pm

1.Does it have two NICS? If yes, It is not recommanded to running multihomed computer on Windows 8. It happens on Windows 8 only (Not windows 7 or previous). It works without any issue. However if you don't want to see "the exclamation point across the WiFi bars", try to disable IPv6 for a test. To disable IPv6, right click on NIC and select properties. Uncheck the IPv6.
