MS Outlook 2010 Calendar Sync Issues with Mac OS

The PA in our office has shares to all directors calendars. She updates/creates appointments. She is using Windows 7 and MS 2007. When she updates all individuals calendars they all update correctly and synchronise with the users calendars without any problem except one user who uses a Mac. If she updates his calendar from her PC then it is not reflected in his calendar. Also, if the Mac user changes or updates any appointments himself the changes do not show on his calendar on her PC. The Mac user is using MS Office 2010 for Mac.

Any ideas?

Thanks for this. The Mac actually uses MS Office 2011 - apologies for this.

I have managed to resolve this but have the feeling this will only be a temporary fix. I just removed the delegate from the Mac Users Outlook then added her again and the calendar seemed to start synchornising again.

Do you think the same fix (downgrade Outlook) would be required for 2011?

Actually I’m not expert at Outlook for Mac, but judge from the article I found, Outlook 2008 for Mac will be more compatible(than 2011) to perform the sync.

Whatever, it will be much better if it won’t go wrong again after what you have done.
