Shuttles

Step 1

Collect your checked baggage from the appropriate baggage carousel and go to the Port Authority Welcome Center in your arrival terminal. JFK and LaGuardia airports each include Welcome Centers.

Step 2

Contact a shuttle service if you don't already have a reservation. Shuttle companies with routes connecting JFK and LaGuardia include All County Express Air Shuttle (allcountyexpress.com), ETS Airport Shuttle (etsairportshuttle.com) and NYC Airporter (nycairporter.com). All County Express prefers 24-hour notice for transportation but can pick you up in as few as three hours if you call from the airport. ETS Airport Shuttle does not require any reservations, nor does NYC Airporter, which runs shuttles every 30 minutes between 5 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.

Step 3

Go to the self-service kiosk if the Welcome Center isn't open when you arrive. From this kiosk, you can find the number for a shuttle service and place a free phone call.

Step 4

Exit the airport through the Ground Transportation doorways and meet your shuttle driver at your reservation time. Pay your driver via cash or credit card upon boarding the shuttle. The trip between JFK and LaGuardia is between 45 and 60 minutes when traveling by shuttle.
