Cannot access any Microsoft websites.

Postby jazz » Thu Aug 30, 2007 9:28 am

I have a brand new Inspiron desktop with pre-installed Vista Home Premium and it's never been able to access any MSN websites. (I am able to get on the internet) I have spent countless hours on the phone w/Dell and even they cannot remedy this. They disabled every firewall that was installed and added the websites to the trused sites in security and I'm still not able to download any updates for Windows, because I can't get on the MSN websites. I thought I would post this plea for help prior to returning the desktop to Dell and going back to my old XP desktop.
Thanks!

I had already uninstalled Norton security and I still get to msn/microsoft.
My tech at Dell says the only thing left to do a factory reinstall.
