Wireless Intermittent connectivity issues

Postby guest » Tue Jul 26, 2011 8:26 am

Situation: the client has two Cisco 1200 AP. Some may get wireless but other don't. Those users have the wireless may work for a while and disappear.

Case 1. the AP is detected but still send the signal. Whenever the users access the problematic AP, then can't get the Internet. When their computers switch to the the good AP, it works.

Case 2: One of AP WAN port doesn't connect to the network. So the wireless laptop can access the AP but not the Internet

We bought a Amped Wirteless AP. The wireless clients keep lossing the connectivity and ping keeps timeout. The resolution is create a VLAN for the Amped wireless.
