Network\MaxNumFilters values

I am having an issue installing a VPN client. According the vendors web site, KB entries at Cisco on the same subject and the answers to a question regarding not being able to install VPN clients (reference http://social.technet.microsoft.com/for ... EC5B57733D),modifing this registry key from the default of 7 to 14 will resolve my problem. However, I am not finding this registry key on my laptop. I thought about adding it but cannot find a reference to the correct entries. Any suggestions?

Have the same problem with network bridging virtual box. I have increased number MaxNumFilters to 14 (Hex).
