• The Windows Server 2003 operating system with SP1 or above.

• Windows Remote Management (WinRM).

• A supported version of Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
Windows PowerShell 1.0.
Install this software from the following site: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=77521.
• Windows Server Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0.
• If not already installed, the following software is installed during Setup:
• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.

The following software must be installed prior to adding a virtual machine host to Virtual Machine Manager (VMM):

* Windows 2003 with SP1 or above

* One of the following versions of Microsoft Virtual Server 2005:
o Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 or above.
o Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 x64 SP1 or above.
* Windows Remote Management (WinRM).
