Postby chicagotech » Mon Jan 01, 2007 5:43 pm

Q: I keep receiving "The local device name is already in use". Following your troublwshooting "The local device name is already in use. " http://www.chicagotech.net/troubleshoot ... nslow1.htm by deleting all mapping before mapping. How can I run delete * /d command in a batch file without answering Yes?

A: You can add /y switch, for example, net use * /d /y.

You may have two options:
1. use echo yes, for example echo yes|del c:\temp
2. Rd c:\temp\*.* /s /q.
