Cisco: Password required, but none set

Postby chicagotech » Mon Apr 09, 2007 10:40 am

Situation: when trying to telnet to a router, you may receive this error message:

telnet 10.0.20.47

Password required, but none set

Connection to host lost.

Cuase and Solution: The router does not have a Telnet password configured. Setup the password.
