Wireless lost after sleep

Postby chicagotech » Sat Dec 29, 2007 10:28 am

When it comes out of sleep it doesn't reconnect to the internet via my
wireless hub, but it does get what it calls a "local only" connection. So I
have to click on disconnect and then connect to get the net back. Works fine
on restart, but not sleep.

Any ideas?

This is still a bug in Windows Vista that will probably be patched
shortly. Don't worry about it. I had the same problem with my Atheroes wifi
card until a driver update became availible. Con't stress! Microsoft always
patches this kind of stuff.

Actually the solution seems to be that I disable the ethernet adaptor (which
I don't use anyway).
