Wireless Switch Disconnects After Vista Sleep

Postby chicagotech » Sat Dec 29, 2007 11:06 am

1. Could you check the default gateway and ipconfig after wake up from the sleep and make sure Vista doesn't lose the default gateway.
2. You may try to remove IPv6 completely for a test (not just disable)
3. We had some similar posts before. You may want to check them. Please psot back with the result.

Hi. I managed to fix it. If anyone else with a Vaio has this problem, it's
probably because "Vaio Smart Network" was disabled, which is what I had done.
As long as that is open, the connection works after sleep.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I am having the EXACT same problem with an Acer Aspire 9410, however, I am running on an XP platform (hopefully I'm posting in the right spot!). I am at a loss as to what to try next.

Thanks in advance!

I would check any new driver for the NIC.
