How many network adapters do I need?

Postby guest » Sun Nov 16, 2008 5:46 pm

I would not recommend using a crossover cable as this doesn't scale beyond
two nodes. One adapter for Heartbeat network, one for public / client access
(to clustered services / applications) and one for iSCSI network traffic /
access (if using iSCSI)...this is at a minimum. You could also consider
increasing the number of iSCSI and public NICs for improved throughput and
increased performance...

Hope this helps,
